Sit & Stitch: Free Sewing Class in Bentonville

Each participant will receive a kit of sewing supplies for a special project introducing you to the world of sewing.

Description

Join us to thread new community connections at the Bentonville Public Library Makerspace. This free Sit & Stitch class is a calm space to focus your mind and learn basic machine sewing techniques. We will guide you step by step to craft a special beginner project. Taking time to sew is wonderful for mental well-being and finding quiet joy in the rhythm of the machine. We meet Monday, July 20, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Kits are provided, and you can use the library machines or bring your own. Spots are limited to adults 18 and older. Registration opens on July 6 through the Bentonville Library portal. Together, we are creating stories with magic, one stitch at a time.
