Sit & Stitch: Free Sewing Class in Bentonville

Each participant will receive a kit of sewing supplies for a special project introducing you to the world of sewing.

Description

Join us to thread new community connections at the Bentonville Public Library Makerspace. This free Sit & Stitch class is a calm space to focus your mind and learn basic machine sewing techniques. We will guide you step by step to craft a special beginner project. Taking time to sew is wonderful for mental well-being and finding quiet joy in the rhythm of the machine. We meet Monday, October 19th, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Kits are provided, and you can use the library machines or bring your own. Spots are limited to adults 18 and older. Registration opens on October 5th through the Bentonville Library portal. Together, we are creating stories with magic, one stitch at a time.
